The week of July 24th was huge for the Atlantic-Pacific Tang Soo Do Federation under the direction of Master J. John St. James, Chil Dan. The Federation, headquartered in Suwanee, Georgia, put on it's annual Masters (KODANJA) Clinic (July 25 - 28), and it's International Championships, Awards Banquet, and Championship Party (July 28 - 30) at both the Marriott Boca Center and Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Florida. |

Master Carole Coker, owner of The Family Karate Center and Coker's Tang Soo Do in Montgomery, Alabama has been chosen to tape Child Abduction Prevention Tips on The Christian Broadcast Network. The Program is called "The Family Karate Center Presents: Stranger Danger Tip of the Week". Different safety segments and self defense quick-release moves were taped by the Tiny Tiger and Little Dragon Students at Master Coker's school. |

The Atlantic Pacific Tang Soo Do Federation, headquartered in Suwanee, Georgia recently hosted their annual Ko Dan Ja or Master’s Clinic. Masters and Master’s candidates from across the U.S. traveled to the annual Ko Dan Ja and spent four (4) days focusing on the history, tradition, culture, philosophy, and physical skills related to the ancient art of Tang Soo Do. The clinic took place from Thursday, March 26th to Sunday, March 29th at Federation headquarters in Suwanee. |

On May 8, 2009, the Southeastern region of the Atlantic -Pacific Tang Soo Do Federation had its annual spring black belt test at the Family Church in Sugar Hill, GA. The testing panel included Grandmaster John St. James and the Southeastern Regional Masters and Master’s Candidates. The physical test opened with the announcement of the high scores on the written exam. The high scorer among the children was Sabrina Edwards of Karate World. |

The Atlantic Pacific Tang Soo Do Federation came together to kick-off its first ever TAC Tour of the Southeastern and Northeastern United States recently. Kwan Jang Nim John St. James, founder of the Atlantic Pacific Tang Soo Do Federation and Master James Allison, TAC Ho Sin Sul Coordinator joined forces for the three (3) week tour. Master Allison in addition to being a 4th Dan Master instructor with the APTSDF is also the founder and president of the International Hapkido Sun Moo Kwan Association and an 8th Dan in Hapkido. The Atlantic Pacific Tang Soo Do Federation and the International Hapkido Sun Moo Kwan Association are associated through the Asia Atlantic Alliance and work closely together. |
